I'm unable to create WMV files as I continue to see ''writer initialization failed'' error message. I can export and save AVI files but not WMV. What can I do?

If you can output AVIs, you can import them into Window MovieMaker and output WMVs from there.
Otherwise, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the software. Unless it's a recent Windows update. They occasionally knot things up too.
