I have adobe 4 elements i want to uninstall, but halfway thru, i get a warning that, ''error 1316. a network error occurred while attempting to read from the file c:\windows\installer\adobe premier elements 4.0.msi.''

Or you can just delete C:\PROGRAM FILES\ADOBE\PREMIERE ELEMENTS 4 and then run and registry cleaner (such as the free EasyCleaner or CCleaner). It's a clunky way to do it, but it gets the job done if you're dealing with corruptions, as you're seeing.

i cant find my disk, and i cant find an old version to download. i will try the second option.
