Using Chinese script in Adobe Premiere...

Hello

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a way to get Chinese Fonts into Adobe Premiere Elements 7. I have put some Chinese Fonts into the Adobe Common Files and also into Windows Fonts but they do not show up in the application.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

They should be available. They are on my system.

Have a look at the end of your font list rather than in alpha order.

Also, if that doesn't work, you can certainly create the titles in Photoshop Elements or even Word in Chinese and then paste them in.

Mike,

Did you install the fonts into Windows? Rather than just copying, or moving into the Windows font folder, you should use the Control Panel%26gt;Fonts to install them.

Do they show up in all other applications, or just not Adobe? Adobe will use nearly every font installed on a system. There might be some exceptions, but Chinese should not be one of them, as many folk, who I know, use them all of the time. The fonts in the Common folder are just located there. Adobe installs them through Windows, when the program is installed. Just copying them to that folder later, will not install them onto your system, and Adobe products do not specifically look there, at startup. They only look to the registered, installed fonts on the system.
