Hi Just learning Premiere Elements 7 (or trying to) The trouble I have is that when dragging clips to the sceneline the first one appears and any after that seem to go over the first one. If I can get past this problem perhaps I can progress.

(I'll bet these are AVCHD files, aren't they? And/or that you're working in Sceneline view rather than Timeline?)

I think that the same symptom for the Sceneline would happen if Chris has a Sony standard definition camcorder that records MPEG2 video and 5.1 audio. (this might be either a HDD or a DVD camcorder)
