Changing directory of .AVI File Storage

(Windows XP - PE4)

Hi,

When capturing from a DV camcorder, all .avi files are stored in My Documents/Adobe/Premiere Elements/4.0 directory although I nominate a directory for my project on another drive. Because the .avi files are huge (about 20Gb) I would like to change this destination to somewhere else. But I cannot find how to do this.

Would someone please say if this is possible and, if it is, how to go about it? I have the manual.

Go to Edit%26gt;Preferences%26gt;Scratch Discs%26gt;Captured Video and select where to capture the files to.
