Question On PE 7 Slideshow

in PE 7 - Can I ?

Grab 100-300 pics from a folder

Make a slide show with random transitions and zoom in/outs?

I don't want to spend time tweaking each image

I have version 2 and I can make a slide show with the same transition

I want to do random transitions and random zooms in just a few clicks.

Thanks
Question On PE 7 Slideshow
If you create the slideshow in Photoshop Elements 7, you can add random transitions and motion paths and then port that file over to Premiere Elements 7 for output to video or DVD.

Always make sure, though, that the photos you use are no larger than 1000x750 pixels, otherwise, with that many photos, you risk overloading the system.

You'll also need a hard drive with about 50 gigaybates of free, defragmented space for best performance.

I created a random transition theme and random pans and zooms theme and they are available for download at Muvipix.

Somewhere there's another thread on Muvipix on how to modify themes so you can add your own transitions or delete existing transitions. The part you would need to know is how to open up a theme for editing in Premiere Elements. Some of the information that applys to version 4 no longer applies in version 7. Once you get the theme open in Premiere Elements 7, you will see where to add or remove transitions on one of the video tracks.

There is a slideshow theme that comes with PRE7. It is really cool. It applies effects and transitions. It even puts in music.

Check it out.
