add remove program list
You can use the Microsoft Installer Cleanup utility.

This page describes it and has a link for the download:

Here is the download link for your convenience:

add remove program list
Robert, thanks for the info but I must not have explained correctly.

I have already removed the program.. I want to remove the programs ''listing'' in the add/remove programs section.

TIA

Nancy

No, I understood you. That is what it does. It will remove the entry from the Add/Remove list, even if you already uninstalled it.

Adobe Premier Elements 2.0 does not show up upon running the Window Installer program.

Any other ideas to get it out of my add/remove program list?

Thanks

nancy

I've pretty much run out of ideas, except for two other ideas. One is to install Premiere Elements 2 again, and then uninstall it. Hopefully what ever interupted the uninstall the last time won't interupt it this time. The other idea is to use Advanced System Care, mentioned a few times in this forum and on Muvipix. It has a utility to remove programs. Also it has a registry cleaner that may make it possible to uninstall it after it has finished cleaning the registry. I had one program I couldn't get out of the list until after running the registry cleaner. Then when I tried a regular uninstall from Add/Remove Programs, it said that it couldn't find the program and if I wanted the item removed from the add/remove list. Then when I said yes, it removed it. Before running the registry cleaner, that question didn't come up.
