PRE7, Panels and Dual Monitor Setup

I can undock and move the Monitor Panel and the Timeline/Sceneline Panel but I can't undock and move Edit panel. I used to move that panel onto my 2nd monitor. Is this a bug or just the way it now works?

If you're talking about the Tasks panel, that is the one panel that will not undock, Rob.

True, you cannot undock the Tasks panel. But you should be able to move it to the 2nd monitor and resize it there as you deem fit.

I don't understand. If you cannot undock it, how can you possible move it?

I have PRE7 and I cannot move the tasks panel to the second monitor, unless I move the entire PRE7 workspace to the second monitor.

I think Felix means that, if the program isn't set to Windows maximize, you can move the entire program to your second monitor -- which, if you've undocked the other panels, will mean that just the top masthead and the Tasks panel will be moved.

Yes, that's what I meant...

Once you have moved the entire program (incl. Tasks panel) to the 2nd monitor, you can maximize it again over there and it will ''stick'' to the max. borders of that 2nd monitor.

At least, that's my experience.

Thanks Guys, I'll just have to get used to working with that setup then.
