GPU acceleration HD4000 Series?

I've read that because of problems with the ati drivers, at the moment only the hd3000 series cards are properly supported (encoding) in magix and pinnacle products.. is this the same with PE 7?

Premiere Elements 7 works with a wide variety of cards. I use an ATI card and I never have a problem with it.

But in user forums of pinnacle and magix products I've read that there were still driver issues with the current series of AMD (HD4000), which prevent GPU acceleration for encoding. Is that also true for PE 7 or does it use your 4000 series cards?

PE7 does not use GPU acceleration for encoding so it should not be an issue.

Are you sure?!??? This would be a very very big disadvantage over any competing product!

As far as I am aware PPro uses GPU acceleration (dependant on the video card) but PE7 does not.
