I'd like to synch up slides to the beat of added music in Premier Elements 3.0. The help section seems to suggest that this can be done, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Can someone kindly walk me through the process?

Additional help available from http://muvipix.com also :)
Is there a way to precisely identify the beat in the music, manually? I'd like to avoid the automatic synching up that the Premiere or Photoshop software can do.
Thank you guys for your suggestions, which I appreciate very much.
I did solve the problem of precisely synching up my slides manually to the beat of the music by double clicking on the music timeline, which brings up a Preview box showing the music graphically. By expanding the Preview box, vertically and horizontally (quite large), I'm able to very precisely locate the beat of the music. There are still so many capabilities in the software that I have yet to learn.
