Still images appear black in final DVD

I am making a 12 minute film on a Dell dimension 2400 using elements 2 (which I have done several times before without problems).



Project includes video and still photos.



Some of the photos appear black in the timeline and some appear black on the DVD.



What might be causing this? Thanks

I am guessing your photos are high resolution... resize them to 1000x750 and you will not have this problem. TV resolution is 720x480 anyway so you will not lose any quality by resizing them.
