Premiere Elemenrts 7 Questions..

I have 2 premiere elements questions I hope someone can answer...

1. I edited a bumch of .mts High DEF files into a video and now I want to export it to some kind of finished video I can play on my computer. When I click on EXPORT and then MOVIE, it says EXPORT AUDIO ONLY and will not let me export to a video file. How can I do this?

2. Is there a way to take this high def video I created and burn a standard def DVD that will have the top and bottom bars? I want to be able to work in high def so that when I get a blue ray burner I can burn High DEF but for now I need to burn SD DVD's .. is this possible in premiere elements 7?

Thanks..

OK I figured out how to EXPORT... You need to use the SHARE tab. I was using FILE--%26gt;EXPORT ... now I just need to see if someone can tell me how to burn an SD DVD with the bars since I dont have a bluray burner yet....

If you burn a widescreen DVD your DVD player should be able to play it in letterbox mode with the bars above and below. Otherwise after exporting your project bring the video file into a standard (4:3) project, add the video (make sure Fit to Frame is checked, this is the default) and burn to a standard DVD. The resultant DVD will be standard 4:3 with the widescreen video having black bars above and below.

What do I export into so I can burn a SD widescreen DVD?

Thanks...

To burn a SD widescreen DVD you dont need to export to anything... just select Share to DVD and burn away.
