How to avoid scene detection crash in...

Dear all



I add a holiday movie in mpg format with a very long continus scene

Scene detection was crashing every time



Conversion of this MPG-2 movie to DVPAL using Windows Movie maker was awful (kind of shadow shapes for moving objects)



So in premiere element I cutted my movie into 3 pieces :

- before the long scene

- long scene ( I keep the orginal file)

- after the long scene



I have converted to DV-PAL the 1st and 3rd

Result

- The AVI files are fine (so conversion is better in PE than in

- Scene detection works flawlessly on those AVI files
